"I said 'Let them truckers roll, ten-four!'"

Hayduke can inspire.

But seriously, I have not been neglecting the blog world. I wanted to keep the golf cart issue at the top of the page for a few days. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, the CA Board of Directors' Planning and Strategy Committee has the golf cart issue on its agenda (PDF) for Thursday, March 8, 2007 (it is item #7 on the agenda). The meeting will be held at the Columbia Association Building (aka, the Teachers Building), 10221 Wincopin Circle at 7:00 PM. It is my hope that residents will turn out to engage the committee in a discussion about the pros and cons of putting golf carts on Columbia's path system. I hope to see you all there.

Coming late to the golf cart issue, I can only suggest one look at pedicabs (bike rickshaws). )n the paths, these would have the same problems as golf carts -- the passenger compartments seem rather wide, but then so are many passengers -- but they would at least be reasonably environmentally friendly. Take a look at pedicab.com!
