I must confess, I could use some rest.

I was going to post something that I am upset about in Long Reach, but I just can't do it. I am sure I will get to it soon enough, but in reviewing my rather lenghy (sorry about that folks) post from last night, I just can't be negative tonight. I wanted to be a little sunshiny. I will close with a link to one of my favorite essays about Columbia. It was written by Michael Chabon for Architectural Digest magazine in 2001. It really speaks to what being a pioneer-child was like in the late '60's and early '70's. It is absolutely what I experienced. I hope some of you that have been around a while remember the map with blue lines.
